I am so excited to share with you about our 2018 Spring Production of King of My Heart. This original ballet is based on the biblical story of David and Saul from 1 Samuel 8-17. We encourage you to read it for yourselves before you see the show.
We started off this 2017-2018 season focusing on this scripture verse:
John 4:23: “Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshippers the Father seeks.”
This filled us with urgency as a studio to discover what it means to be true worshippers. As we studied the Word together, we continually found ourselves returning to the importance of the posture of our hearts. “Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life” (Proverbs 4:23).
We are excited to explore this more with our students as we learn our class dances and study the differences between Saul and David. These two ordinary men were both chosen and anointed to be King of Israel by God, but the legacies they left turned out to be very different.
So mark your calendars! May 12th and 13th! King of My Heart will be a production that you won’t want to miss!
